Our story
MontDoré Bakery is, above all, a family story and a shared passion for flavors, blending tradition with creativity.
Our journey began in Paris, meeting between a pastry chef-baker and a coffee enthusiast. After ten wonderful years of life in Paris, and with three children in our luggage, our dream of wide-open spaces brought us to Canada, where we restarted our lives from scratch. After a few years of building our path, we finally took the leap to start our own business—bringing our heritage to life in Vaughan.

At MontDoré, we believe that great baking begins with absolute respect for tradition.
We take no shortcuts. Our golden, perfectly laminated croissants, rich with high-quality butter, and our slow-fermented, homemade sourdough breads are crafted with the precise techniques we mastered in France.
But respect for tradition doesn't mean staying still. MontDoré was created as an open canvas for our culinary creativity. We love blending timeless French foundation with contemporary flavors that inspire us every day. Think classic flaky viennoiserie and rustic sourdough paired with unexpected twist:
